Fleet Mechanic

West Valley Trailways is a family owned company that has been serving the Bay Area with motorcoach travel needs since 1966, with a reputation for professionalism and safety. Only those with previous experience in the motorcoach industry need apply.

West Valley Trailways is currently seeking a qualified, full-time, Fleet Mechanic to assist in maintaining our motorcoach fleet.

Requirements:

• CDL Class B License (or the willingness to obtain one).
• Department of Transportation Medical Card (of the willingness to obtain one).
• DMV H-6 (ten year) print out, less than 30 days old.
• Must pass pre-employment DOT drug test
• Must pass random DOT drug test as condition of continued employment
• Experience in fleet mechanics and maintenance
• Knowledge of Detroit Diesel engines
• Knowledge of electrical systems
• Knowledge of air brake systems
• Knowledge of A/C systems
• Knowledge of body repair
• Knowledge of DOT, DOD, DMV, CHP, BIT, Federal and State laws
• Knowledge of MCI and Prevost busses a plus
• Ability to prioritze work and stay on task
• Must have own transportation and tools to the job site (Campbell, CA).

Position is full time, Monday - Friday, 8:30 am - 5:00 pm.

Wages are competitve and commensurate with experience.

Medical, Dental, Vision pacakge offered after 120 days.
